Mario Domingo is the founder of several technology companies in Singapore and the Philippines in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics. One of these companies is Neural Mechanics Inc., a Philippine-based company that has worked with local and multinational organizations to create AI solutions centered around the efficient use of Big Data and Machine Learning. 

 

Currently, he is the Global Chief Technology Officer of UBX, the leading open finance platform in the Philippines. He is also the founder of the Domingo AI Research Center (DARC Labs). DARC Labs is an AI-healthcare tech R&D center focusing on imaging and genomics diagnostics. Its mission is to empower people to live better and healthier life using AI to create more effective medical treatment and prevention. Through DARC Labs, Mario and his team have worked with partners like DOST PCHRD and The Medical City to create solutions such as AI-driven early detection of liver cancer, AI-Powered Detection of COVID-19 pneumonia, and early detection of Diabetic retinopathy.

 

He is the Director of the Ateneo Institute for Digital Enterprises where he helps share his knowledge in digital transformation and innovation. He has helped several companies through their Digital Transformation over the past decade.

 

He has a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from the University of Southern California and Master’s Degree in Finance from the Rob Marshall School of Business (USC). He also has a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Science AI Labs.

 

Mario has previously spent many years in  Telecom and the Defense and Manufacturing Technologies in the United States.
